How do you save money when hiring a hot tub? This is one of the most common questions we get asked, as there is a strong misconception that hot tubs are hugely expensive to maintain and run. Whilst there is the ongoing cost of heating the water, there are a number of things we can suggest that allow you to relax on a budget!
Insulating with a Thermal Cover
All of our hot tub packages come with a thermal insulting cover which massively reduces the water’s heat loss and therefore saves money on your energy bill. We recommend that you pop this cover on any time the hot tub isn’t in use so you can keep it toasty warm for a fraction of the price!
Using Less Bubbles
The air jets that form the bubbles in the tub naturally lower the temperature of the water, so reducing the time spent with the bubbles on will keep your water hotter. Our hot tub packages provide the ultimate relaxation set up, so even without the bubbles on they still provide an amazing tropical/alpine retreat (if you hire a hot tub cinema it also allows you to hear the film better too!).
Turning the Temperature Down at Night
When you aren’t using the hot tub for a longer period of time, e.g. at night, you can turn the temperature down a couple of degrees to save on the heating costs. Just remember to turn it back up a little while before you want to get back in and you will be good to go!
Set Up a Wind Block
Keeping the wind away from your hot tub will also help keep the temperature consistent and therefore reduces heating costs. We provide a gazebo and backdrop wall as standard with all our hires, but if you would like more wind coverage then just let us know!
We have a wide range of hot tub packages suitable for every occasion, so take a look at the rest of our website, follow us on Instagram or like us on Facebook!
